Weight: 332.4 lbs ( 150.7 kg) BMI: 42.7 Waist: 56 in (142.2 cm) WtHr: 77.5% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Keto Clam Chowder Dinner: Pork Spare Ribs Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Red Bull, Keto Week 2 (Day 17) Sober Month 3 (Day 111) YMCA: No Another decent drop in weight again today. But than again the scale was a bit glitchy again today. So who knows. It is annoying that the last time there was a record low the scale was glitching and then today there was another record low, and it's glitching again today. I was going to test the scale a bit more, but Roommate was already up and awake. Finally got around to making the second batch of Clam Chowder. I've been trying to cook that stew for little over a week now. Every time I tried cooking I was short an ingredient. I'd go to the store to get the ingredient, but then I'd be missing another ingredient. And it'd seem to be silly to go grab just one thing. And then the next day an ingredient ...

I forgot to save before I went to bed last night. I had left the computer on because I was still watching some videos, but it was getting late. This morning after I dropped Roommate off at his doctor I was updating the spreadsheets, and then the computer froze. And for some reason just decided to reboot itself for no reason. So I kinda lost what I wrote, at least on the writing program that I use. I could copy and paste from the site back into the writing program, but I wrote a lot more on the blog post than what would fit into the single page that I write these out into. I didn't notice until later in the evening when I was sitting down and writing up the day and I noticed tha...

Apparently Verizon had an update that scans the phone to for malware. The problem is that it decided to make notifications that it had started the scan. And then sent another notification that the scan was done. And then a notification that it started the virus scan. And then a notification that the virus scan was complete. I was glad that these scans were happening. And I'm glad that the scans came out clean, but I'm not sure that I liked to have these notifications at 2 O'clock in the freaking morning. The weight was a little up today from yesterday. I'm not too worried about that because daily fluctuations happen. It's still among the lowest numbers ...

So when by 10:20 and he didn't call I thought I'll go ahead and set up the Keto Gumbo. It was 10:29 when he called and asked if I had time to make it to the hospital and come get him. I had a bit of a chuckle that he waited to call at 10:29 to call after he said that he wouldn't call after 10:30. I was still trying to set up the slow cooker, but I didn't want to leave him hanging. I would be a rush to get to him and back home. He volunteered to finish setting up the cooker ...

It is always nice when you wake up and have to poop. Always satisfying to poop before weighing in. It is a bit odd because I usually have to poo AFTER I weigh in. Of course after I have breakfast and a pot of coffee. So reweighing in would be pointless. And now that the post has started off on that brown note, I have to say that the waist is kind of down as well. It's closer to 56.75 inches (144.1 cm), but I round to the closest half inch (1.27 cm). I didn't have time for breakfast this morning. Roommate had to go to his daily clinic. I was going to do grocery shopping while he was going to his appointment. I was going to go to the 30th street store, but they were al...

Roommate had a couple of doctor's appointments this morning. He's a bit nervous about his FMLA and Insurance continuing. He's not that worried about his job because he's planning on quitting anyway. But he'd prefer to wait until his medical stuff is paid for, but that's his plan. The thing I'm nervous about is every time he goes to the doctor they extend the estimated time he's going back to work. When he came home in December, he'd just be home until the end of January, oh wait, the middle of February, or the middle of March, now he'll “totally” be back to work by the beginning of April. Or is it going to be August. (Joke) I cooked bacon and eggs for br...

It will be nice to get healthy again so I am not gasping in pain when I'm first standing up in the morning. Looking out of the window this morning really kind of inspires me to build up my savings to try to save up to buy my own house. Just like the last time it snowed, the neighbors seem to think that it'd be fun to drive around the backyard. Can't say that I'm a big fan of snow in itself, but I really don't like seeing tire tracks all over the snow. If I get my own place I won't be seeing the results of goofballs driving all over my backyard. Or at least...

I felt like I was on peg legs until I got them loosened up. Weight is up again. A bit nervous about the way that it's been tracking up this week. It's down for the year and it's still below the average of the year. The watch says that Fat is down and Muscle is up, but water is also up. And I've been going to the bathroom a lot again today. Roommate had a nurse visit this morning. Pretty sure that this is his last home healthcare visit. He seems to be a bit nervous about that fact. As the roommate's nurse was there I left early for work. It was just a few minutes early, but as I was driving towards the store I notic...

Not sure what's going on there. They haven't been hurting much this week, but now they feel like I'm back to what it was like when I started the year.  I had steak and eggs for breakfast because I'm going to try to stretch out the bacon if I can.   My smartwatch has a feature that scans the Muscle/Fat/Water content of the body when I weigh in each morning. I wasn't sure how accurate the scan is because if I look at the things that it said my body contains the watch scan says I have 1...

But waist is down. It is kind of interesting how much the waist is fluctuating this month. It's only bouncing back and forth between 58 in (147.3 cm) to 57 in (144.8 cm) but it usually stays pretty steady. The car did get to the gas station, which was a relief. I looked it up and my car Chrysler 300 (not sponsored) has a 18.5 gallon (70 liter) tank. And when I fueled up it took 18.136 gallons (68.652 liters) lol. I got there on fumes, good will, and foreword momentum. I knew it was low so last night when I left the store I picked up a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. I wasn't having any issues with the car, but I know that you're supposed to put it into a ne...

It didn't take much of the shortening to cover my hands. I wonder if I bought too much. There was only one size of can, but it only took a couple of fingertips full to cover the entirety of my hands. It was a bit distracting to have my hands inside of socks. And I probably shouldn't have used the socks that I wore yesterday. There was a smell, but the crustiness was more distracting. The warmth on my hands was nice though. When I woke up this morning the hands had kind of stiff skin on the back of them, but they didn't hurt. I'll continue the experiment to see if it helps. But I'll p...

Somehow the snow makes the cold a bit more bearable. Cold without snow is just bleah. But with the snow coming down it kind of makes sense. I'm still very ready for spring. But if it has to be winter, let there be snow to make it look like winter. Last night I was playing Minecraft with Roommate and he asked me why I had put the latex gloves on. I told him that it was because of the dry skin on my hands. He said that might not be a good idea because I'm going to want something that lets my skin breathe. He was telling me that his bandage on his leg is designed to let the skin breathe. And the suggestions that I've came across say to wear cotton socks/gloves to keep warmth and moisture in. But...

Wow, not much happened today. Hands hurt less today than previous days. But I didn't do much with them. Mom suggested that I get some shortening to moisturize them. I'll add that to the shopping list for tomorrow. Had an early lunch. It was about 1pm. Which is a little late for most people, but I usually have lunch around 3pm. But I was getting REALLY hungry. I was planning on cooking a small chuck roast that I've had for a while in the fridge, but when I opened the package on the roast it like really bad feet. I think it might have been in the fridge for too long. The Tax Return is kind of burning a hole in my pocket even before I get it. I spent t...

That is 4.5 lbs (2 kg) down for the month. I'm sure a good chunk of that is just water weight. But losing water weight is still getting weight off of my feet. Roommate was a little irritated at me this morning. I'm running low on bacon so I decided to have a strip steak and eggs for breakfast this morning. I have to say that eggs fried in bacon and steak drippings is a good combination. But he uses a CPAP machine and I guess that the smell of the steak cooking in the seasonings was going into the machine and basically punching him in the face. The back of my hands look like lizard s...

Not feeling bad, or “down” just really, really tired. I'm blaming the weather. It was pretty dark and gloomy today. Heck if it were about 50 degrees (10 C) warmer it would be my favorite kind of weather. But this weather where even just going outside hurts just sucks. I was feeling Okay before lunch, but when I came home and sat down, I sat all of the way down. I really just wanted to go to bed. My sister came by the store to get my tax documents shes going to help me and file my Tax Returns for me. It's fun to think of all of the fun things that I could buy when the returns...er...return. But honestly I just need to build up my savings acco...

I am so ready for spring, it's not even funny. They are talking about more snow this weekend. It did warm up a little later in the afternoon, but that wind was going bananas all day long. I slept with the latex gloves on. The hands still look rough, but at least the skin doesn't hurt. The sleep tracker app is saying that I didn't fall asleep until 2:45, which is a bit of a surprise as I didn't think that I had a hard time falling asleep. And I did wake up really easily this morning and I felt well rested at 7:30. Roommate asked me if the smell of weed had woke me up as he could smell it coming through the wall. I personally didn't smell i...

I had just ate a pretty good sized Pork Steak. That's all I had, but I was satisfied after dinner. But a couple of hours later my stomach was kind of rumbly Today started off AMAZINGLY I woke up and today was down 4.8 lbs (2.1 kg) waist is down 2in (5 cm) and the Rent and Grocery Checks came through on the same day that the Pay Check came in. I'm always holding my breath for the week or two it takes for the Rent Check to come through. So it is always a massive relief when it comes in. The challenge for today is not to spend any money. And I made it through the day without spending anything. This is one of my goals. Sure I didn't spend as much on soda as I did on beer, b...

Kind of reminds me of the idea that the only way that a diet will work is if you treat it more than just a “diet” it should be a “lifestyle” It is interesting that over the last couple of days the “Body Composition Scan” on my watch has marked a notable increase in “Body Water” I'm not sure how much to trust this scan as it is just a watch scanning my wrist and the two fingers on the other hand. I think that it supposedly sends a pulse through my torso ...
