Keto Sobriety Blog Sunday June 7, 2026

Weight: 308.5 lbs ( 139.9 kg) BMI: 39.6 Waist: 51.5 in ( 130.8 cm) WtHr: 69.6% (nice) Breakfast: Sausage Patties and Eggs Lunch: Bratwursts Dinner: Pork Steak Drinks: Apple Cider Salted Coffee, Monster, Sparkling Water, Sober Year 1 (Day 534) Keto Month 3 (Day 97) (147/365 Days 2026 Keto) A bit down for today, annoyed that the weight jumps up but crawls down. It is good that the waist is down. It's been a while since it was that far down. I'm pretty sure that 51 inches is the record. I worked 12 to 9 today so I had some extra time before work. When I woke up Step-Dad was already cooking sausage and eggs for breakfast. And as I was sitting around before work I started on the script for the next Store Story. These weekly scripted videos are going to be a serious grind. Props to the people who are able to get that done. But then again a good number of people who are successful on YouTube have massive teams behind them and I'm kind of a One-Man-Band. As I worked later th...

Day Trip to Glass/Gloss Mountain State Park

Image
A while back my mom started a Facebook group to highlight her travels. And I suggested that we visit the closest mountain to where we live here in South Central Kansas. With phones that take decent pictures we headed south when our schedules aligned It was kind of interesting to see the wind farms in Harper County. Mom has some pretty hard core libertarian views. So when she saw me staring at the windmills we had some interesting conversations. (I personally try to stay neutrally aligned to political parties)   We were about twenty minutes out from our destination and we had yet to see any hills greater than what we'd see in most of Kansas. Before we left my roommate (who is a trucker, so he has travel experience) had told me that a trip to Oklahoma would just look like Kansas. And most of our trip did look like the highways between home and going over to Wichita. There were times when the trees and hills would open up and do what I call, "Let your eyes see for a while." ...

Car is Fixed (?) Daily Blog 4-27-21

Weight: 355.4 lbs (161.2 kg) BMI: 45.6 Waist: 58 in (147.3 cm) WtHR 78% Breakfast:x Lunch: Taco Bell Crunch wrap, taco, Doritos Taco with spicy Ranch, Baja Mt Dew Dinner: Ribs Snack: Corn Chips and Queso Man I need to get these dishes done. They are seriously reeking up my house.      Taco Bell for lunch really wasn't on the meal plan. But I do have to say that the Doritos taco with spicy ranch dressing is dangerously good.      Got my car oil change done. I took it to a local garage instead of back to the dealership. Last oil change I took it to the dealership and it took them five or six hours to do the change because they "don't follow their online appointments". But this only took about an hour or so to get my car in and oil changed. I also had them do a check on the engine.       The last couple of months the engine just sounded rough as hell. It sounded like it had a bad throat or something. When the mechanic looked at th...

Not Hungry For Dinner Daily Blog 4-26-21

Weight: 357.8 lbs (162.3 kg) BMI: 45.9 Waist: 57 in (144.8 cm) WtHR 77% Breakfast: Leftover Chuck Roast Lunch: Deli Chef Salad Bowl Dinner: not hungry      A little annoyed that I've been gaining weight each day for the last several days. However the weigh in video that I had produced yesterday showed a loss from February      Having my car looked at tomorrow. The oil change is due, and it is making strange noises. It kind of sounds like it has a sore throat or something. It's not showing any indicator lights, but I thought that it would be a good idea to get it checked out before any lights came on. Last week I had set up an appointment on the garages website, but they didn't get that appointment so I had to reschedule for tomorrow.      Today is the 30 th anniversary of the Andover tornado. And I was watching footage of various tornadoes. Power of the wind really is quite awe inspiring      I'm not sure if t...

Daily Food Blog 4-25-21

Weight: 355.8 lbs (161.4 kg) BMI: 45.7 Waist: 57 in (144.8 cm) WtHr 77% Breakfast: Lunch: Top Loin Steak Dinner: Slow Cooker Chuck Roast, Mac and cheese    CORRECTION: The last couple of days I've been mentioning that I had a lot of KC Strip Steaks, I looked over these again and they are actually Top Loin Steaks. I'm not sure if that makes much difference in much, but I thought it would be good to point out in case anyone gets confused by the sudden switch in the steaks that I'll be eating for the next week or so. (laughing at myself for typing that like anyone actually reads these)        Had a slow start to the morning. Woke up a bit late and it took a bit of convincing to get up and moving. Not that I felt bad, it's just that it was nice to lay in bed and scroll though the phone. I've heard that a lot of people don't keep their phones near their beds. I think that might be a good idea to start doing.      Spent all morning gettin...
