I keep catching myself just sitting here at the computer. I blink and it seems to be an hour and a half later. It was quite busy today at work. But the day went smoothly. There was a moment of frustration a kid that was supposed to work yesterday who had a doctors note about not being able to work for the next week or so. The manager didn't bother telling anybody until about an hour before he was supposed to come in to tell anybody that he wasn't going to be able to come in. Shepard's pie (Cottage Pie) Easy Recipes


Cottage Pie

1 lbs ground beef

1 package brown gravy mix

1 cup water

4 servings instant mashed potatoes

2 cups peas and carrots (thawed)

onion

2 cloves garlic minced

optional parsley flakes

½ cup shredded cheese




  1. Preheat oven to 350. Brown beef, drain

  2. Mix gravy mix and water in small bowl. Pour over beef and bring to a boil. Add peas and carrots. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer to 1.5 quart baking dish. Top with potatoes

  3. bake for 30 minutes sprinkle with parsley and cheese
