I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Didn't get the blog done yesterday. I did get a chance to stand on the scale before work, but after work Roommate and I went to see the new Dungeons and Dragons movie. And it was very entertaining. Action was fun, visual effects were amazing, but the writing? Wooofff. I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard in a movie theater, but I don't think I was laughing at the things that they were wanting me to laugh at. The actors did what they could with what they were given, but if someone like ME can see plot twists and turns before they can happen and determine the antagonists plan before their reveal, there's something wrong with the movie. It also tended to rely heavily on exposition to explain the characters backgrounds and what their motivations are. And Roommate spent most of the movie saying, “that doesn't work like that, it isn't really like that” It would be interesting to watch someone go through the movie part by part describing the difference between the movie and the game. I enjoyed watching the movie, but it was still a very poorly written movie.

Got the weigh in video done this morning. I did miss yesterday's blog post, but I have yet to miss a Sunday weigh in video so far this year. I had to rush it out. I was trying to get it recorded before Roommate woke up. It's kind of awkward to record videos when he's home. I wasn't very confident going into the video, I hadn't stuck to the diet over the last couple of days, but I did end up losing weight this week. But I feel that was just luck.

Getting the video done before work left me without time to cook the usual bacon and eggs. So I left a couple of minutes early so I could scarf down some hot dogs.

Today was Easter Sunday, but the day went a lot smoother than I was expecting. I did get quite a few people (usually older ladies) saying, “It's unfortunate that you have to work today.” I just want to say, “We're really only open because people are shopping!” I've seen Facebook posts listing the businesses that are closed Easter Sunday and there are a lot of comments on those posts that say that all businesses should be closed on not only Easter, but all Sundays. But again, if you want a business to be closed on a certain day, DO NOT SHOP ON A CERTAIN DAY. I've lost count of how many elderly people have damned me to hell because I'm working on their sabbath. While they are shopping on that day.

Since today was Easter the management was nice enough to cook ham for everyone. And there was some macaroni salad to go with.

For dinner I picked up some taco seasoning, tomatoes, and cheese to make an attempt on some sort of taco mix. It didn't turn out quite as well as I was hoping. It was basically just the Taco Salad without the salad so it was a bit flat. I think it'd go better with cubed beef instead of ground beef. Or maybe a bit less cheese and a bit of sour cream next time. And even when I had drained/rinsed the beef and tomatoes before adding the cheese it was still covered in a yellowish grease.
