I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

This morning was rough as hell. It was a continuation of yesterday's allergy issues. And all day long I had a voice like I smoke three packs a day. This is on top of a voice that no one can hear on a normal day. But when I got to work I put on a mask and that massively helped with my symptoms. I didn't bother with a mask yesterday and I felt like re-fried dog poo. So that proves, to me at least, that a face mask helps with my allergy symptoms. Someone saw that I was wearing a mask and asked me if I was sick. I told him that the mask helps with my allergies. He just sneered at me, “That's just all in your head.” Yeah, genius where do you think my sinuses are?
This morning I had a bit of excitement. Back in June I applied for a job at a local bank. A lady that I used to work with is currently working at that bank and she agreed to be my reference for that job. I was more than a little disappointed that I had not heard anything back. Personally, I am mature enough to hear a “no” but I was starting to wonder if they weren't mature enough to give one. But yesterday the reference lady told me that there was an opening in her department, and this morning she sent me a text encouraging me to call the HR people at the bank. When I called the bank I wasn't sure of what to say so I just asked if there was any update to the positions that I applied for. She assured me that my application was still active. The way that their hiring system works is that the application is handed around to the departments hiring managers, and then they make the decision after that. She did have a bit of a confused pause when I said that I applied in June and it's now the end of August and have yet to hear anything. I don't want to get my hopes up to high, but she did say that my application is at the top of the pile. I don't want to get my hopes up too high because this is the fourth or fifth job I've applied for this year and I have yet to hear anything...literally ANYTHING back. What I wouldn't give for a 8-5 Monday to Friday office job. Wouldn't that be beautiful? 8 to 5, Monday to Friday, sitting on your ass, dealing with one person at a time, not listening to SCREAMING children. I'm sure that there are other challenges involved. But damn, would I love to try them.
Breakfast wasn't very Keto, but I was just trying to get moving. I'm sure that momentum is the key to get up and going in the morning. And this morning I just wasn't feeling good enough to do any cooking, so I just left for work early enough to pick up some microwaveable breakfast burritos. I chose the Jalapeno eggs and sausage burritos in the hope of clearing out my sinuses. They didn't work that well for that purpose. I'm thinking that they just weren't spicy enough to get things flowing. But I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to spicy foods. So I don't know if I'll ever get around to finding something that would work for that purpose.
For lunch I picked up some Pepperoni Mozzarella rolls from the deli. I ran out of cash so I had to use my debit card for lunch. I've had these Pepperoni rolls before, they are much better with ranch dressing. But I'm trying to save gas so I just ate them in the break room instead of running home for lunch.
For dinner I baked some bratwursts. I was going to grill them. But that relied on a choice of standing at the grill or setting them in the oven during my after work recovery period.
