I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

I was going to have bacon and eggs for breakfast this morning, but I had a KC Strip that had been sitting in my fridge for what was starting to be a while. I tried to make the eggs over easy again, but as soon as my spatula touched the eggs to turn them they just scrambled. I usually cook the eggs in a cast iron skillet. But that was dirty from yesterday so I was cooking in a different skillet, it's not a Teflon pan, it has some sort of light brown covering across the cooking surface. Usually it's a pretty good non stick pan, but this morning I just couldn't get the spatula under the eggs.
Work was frustrating as always. Underpaid, understaffed, overworked. But at least everyone showed up for work today. Weekends really are random when it is expected to be busy. And naturally they underestimated how much help we had. But at least most the customers seem to understand that we just don't have enough help. I personally had a bit of frustration when I was told that I would once again be the “Person In Charge” for the evening because they hadn't scheduled a manager for the evening. That didn't bother me...at first. There was a truck expected, but the grocery person working this evening had a security code to open the dock door for the truck. But the frustrations started to build up at the end of the evening when the carryout was scheduled to have a break after all of the other carry-outs were scheduled to leave for the evening. So basically I was the PIC, Front end supervisor, and the carryout. And the lady in the customer service was someone who was only first trained to close last week. So she was freaking out about how to close, as I was trying to carryout, as I was being paged to the other departments in the store. And then the pick up department was starting to have issues as the tablet register decided to stop working.
On my way home I was picking up something for dinner. I just didn't want to do any cooking. Even to stand up while mac and cheese is cooking seemed to be a lot of standing up and walking around. I did a lap around the store to look for something that I could just take home and eat. But I had already spent too much money this week. I was hoping to use my $50 allowance just for the sodas that I wanted to drink over the week. But so far I haven't precooked anything for lunch/dinner like I've been wanting to survive on. And I was about to do another lap around the store when I convinced myself to just cook another of the boxes of Hamburger Helper that I already have in my cabinet at home. And during my recovery period after work I kept unplugging my monitor with my feet, so even though I didn't want to move around too much after work I still managed to have to climb under my desk and plug my monitor a couple of times.

I have to say, Hamburger Helper sucks. It is like bits of hamburger wrapped in flour, with some flour, and a bit of flour to go with it. But it is kind of handy for a quick and easy meal. But so does a precooked casserole planned out to eat over time
