A bit of a slow start to the morning. I didn't have any caffeine for most of the day yesterday, so I slept quite well last night. It is nice to wake up well rested. But “A body at rest, tends to stay at rest.” And I didn't realize this until a few hours later as I was typing this up, but when I woke up I didn't have the stiff painful feet and legs that I've been waking up with for the last while. I'm not sure if the avoiding the soda was the causation or a correlation.
I have today and tomorrow off. The “Plan” is to try to get some cleaning done. My mom is leaving for a road trip to visit my sister in another state, and I'm going to be pet sitting for her. I do this from time to time. And I always want to leave the house clean. Mainly because I want to come home to a house that is clean, and not a mess that has been sitting here for a week. Along with the fact that I am on paid time off the week after this week. I really want to have a clean home for a change. But this sitting down is really feeling nice.
Had bacon and eggs for breakfast again. Big fan of bacon and eggs. I can't say that I'm as big of a fan of this Mt Dew Melon zero. It just tastes so fake. And there's this nasty lasting aftertaste
Lunch again, not very Keto. Not really at lunchtime for most people. But I've just gotten into the habit of eating “Lunch” (or rather breakfast, since it's usually the first meal of the day) around three or four in the afternoon. It was a bit annoying to get hungry at about the time I was almost done with the dishes though. And the excuse that I'm using to have spaghetti when I'm wanting to do the Keto diet, is that the other night when I realized that I really didn't have any meals saved up, or much current capital to buy much in food I picked up some noodles and sauce. I picked up Spaghetti and Alfredo sauces. Each one of these is just about a dollar, so I picked them up so I could make four meals of them. So that's four meals for just about $4. Sure the big Keto Casseroles or soups get better cost per serving ratios, I just don't have the money at the moment for a big casserole. Still a hell of a lot cheaper than fast food
I wasn't very active after lunch. Might have been the spaghetti, might have been the weather. Cool, but not cold. With a nice gentle rain. Good weather for a day off, not great for needing to get up and cleaning the house.
For dinner I just reheated the spaghetti, threw a handful of cheese to go in it. I did force myself to get up and do dishes after I ate though. This sounds simple, but this is a habit I seriously need to get into. Something I noticed though when I did convince myself to get up and finish the dishes my right shoulder and hip were stiff and kind of sore. Also probably because of the pasta.
