This week they're scheduling Supervisors at 7am. The guess is because of the holiday. But even the Customer Service Manager doesn't know why, she just has to schedule what they say that she does. That's why I don't blame her for the scheduling me only 39 hours for most of the year. She can only schedule what they allow her to. I have to laugh I'm writing this later in the evening while playing the word match game that I've been kind of obsessing over lately. Recorded a General Update video this morning. Probably going to be spending all day thinking about the things I wanted to have mentioned. For instance I wanted to mention that I started off 2023 sober. Kind of helps that the first was a Sunday and I have about five whole dollars to my name.

Once again I wake up with a ton of hope and optimism, and then I go to work and it feels like a giant gut punch. We only had one person call in, so far at my lunch break, but that shift was covered by someone who was asking for more hours anyway. But it's kind of bad when you can feel your emotions deflating as you walk into a building.

Got tired of pork steak every night so I baked up some of the chicken that I had in the freezer. Unfortunately it was the last of the chicken in the freezer. But tomorrow is Tuesday and when I write a check on Tuesday it processes on Thursday, which is the day I get paid. I'm going to be going to be picking up more chicken and I'm going to have to choose a casserole to pick up the ingredients for the Tuesday recipe video.

And it wouldn't be a great idea to drive it back and forth too much. He did say that it would be fine to leave it at the shop until they get the chance to work on it. Some of their people are out of town on training so they wont be able to fix it today, but they'll really try to get it done tomorrow. I had a Paranoid Schizophrenic come through the desk last night so that was interesting. Lady came up to the desk asking to check the balance of a gift card. It was a gift card for the store so that's one I can check the balance of. She asked if the name on the back of the card was an “Islamisist Name” It just said, “From a Friend” but it was in cursive. She insisted that Islamisists” were forcing her into homelessness and into forced prostitution. They had hacked her Social Security and was stealing her Housing Vouchers to force her into slavery.
