I have a very blessed family. But I'm a little disappointed that I broke Keto yesterday. But it is kind of convenient that the first day back on the diet is the first day of the month. I am wondering if I should even do the Keto this month. If I should restrict food spending to 15% of the income that's about $65 per week. And I was thinking that Hamburger Helper is pretty cheep. (not sponsored) I've already bought the groceries for this week so I won't be off the diet for now. But I'm thinking of seeing if I can get the grocery bill for next week to $75. That is over the $65, but that's half o...

The waistline doesn't usually move very much. And being up 2 whole inches is weird. Before work I started working on the scheduling and planning of the videos that I want to work on, and WOW that was a burst of energy that I haven't felt in a while. On the way to work I felt the energy dropping really hard. But I was able to recover some of the energy by telling myself that going to work is just going to be the temporary reprieve from working on the videos. The problem with that thought is that I am already feeling like I'm just waiting my life away. I can never do what I want to do because I have to wait for a little bit longer before I can do t...

Weight: 335.2 lbs ( 152.0 kg) BMI: 43 Waist: 54 in (137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Member's Mark Jumbo Hot Dogs Dinner: Chuck Roast with Mushroom Gravy Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 9 (Day 276) Keto Day 2 All of the Full Time people are being scheduled 39 hours so the store can avoid any overtime. I was kind of nervous when this started this as I was thinking that they were maybe trying to get rid of me, but the other full time people have also had their hours cut. So I was scheduled 12-8 instead of the usual 11-8. Unfortunately the schedule being off kind of threw off my routine, so all I was able to do was count down how much time it was until I had to leave for work. I am glad that the scale is down 1.2 lbs (0.5 kg) but still annoyed that yesterday was 6lbs (2.7 kg) up from the previous day. It is more than a little annoying that it can jump up, but it always crawls down. When I got groceri...

Headache, sore stiffness, irritability, etc. Nine months sober, so not sure what that was about. Kind a low mood all day today. I would say that the low mood could be because the weather was really dreary, but it did clear up for a while this afternoon. I was going to have Steak and Eggs for breakfast this morning, but Roommate had an appointment this morning and while he's at his appointments I do my weekly shopping. Just as soon as I got home from doing the grocery shopping he called and said that he was done with his appointment. And he said that there was something that sounded like really good progress. I don't want to go into details ...

I did buy some butter and aluminum foil this afternoon and when I added the spending to the comparison spreadsheet that I started that compares this years spending to last years spending I was kind of encouraged because this day last year I had spent $30 on Beer and Velveeta dinner. As opposed to today's $8 on butter and foil. Who knows, maybe I'll get to a point where I spend less this year than last year.  I heard the freezer fan buzzing against the ice in the freezer again so I decided to go ahead and thaw out the freezer again. I figured that it'd be better to thaw it out before the ...

But fluctuations happen. I was wanting to find something to do. So I thought of coming up with a spreadsheet to show and compare my spending this year compared to this time last year. Because I know that I had a pretty expensive car repair earlier this year, but I wanted to figure out why I can't get ahead any further than treading water. And looking at the spending categories I am spending less on Food and Dining, not as less as I would like. By this time last year I had spent $2,625.73 on beer. Disappointingly so far this year I've spent $514.12 on Nonalcoholic Beer which is $2,111.61 down from last year. I really could have used that $514. It...
