Waist: 54 in (137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Tater Tot Casserole Dinner: St Louis Style Pork Ribs Drinks: Salted Mocha Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 11 (Day 342) Didn't feel like posting yesterday. I felt physically better by the evening. But people at work were pissing me off. Another instance of “What the hell is going on in our schools” a guy had a digital coupon for 2 litters of soda. (not sponsored) and was angry because he got 14 bottles of soda and they were supposed to be 99 cents with the digital coupon and he couldn't figure out why his total was twenty something dollars. Well, digital coupons are limit 5. And it took off the five bottles. He insisted that he knew it was limit five, that's why he got 14 of them. 14 is more than 5. He knew 14 is more than five, he works at a school. While I was trying to explain what the word “limit” meant to somebody who insisted ...

Weight: 323.8 lbs ( 146.9 kg) BMI: 41.6 Waist: 54 in (137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup  Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 10 (Day 327) I feel like I slept a lot better last night than I have previous nights. Sleep tracker still says that I didn't fall asleep until close to 3am even though I went to bed around midnight. I do remember waking up in the night to run to the restroom so that might have reset the sleep counter so when I got up to use the restroom and went back to bed it thought the second half was the sleep for the night. The scale was nice. I mean it is frustrating to have the exact same number as it was yesterday. But that still is the lowest weight of this year and last. I went to bed last night before the AI finished the download file for the Financial Projection. This morning it kept having a hard time coming up with that file. It also offered to make tha...

Weight: 323.8 lbs ( 146.9 kg) BMI: 41.6 Waist: 54 in (137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup   Dinner: Slow Cooker Chuck Roast Mac and Cheese Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 10 (Day 326) Really didn't sleep very well last night either. Not sure what's going on. I feel dragging tired when going to bed, but when I go to bed I'm wired for sound. I was surprised to see the weight on the scale this morning. I stood on it several times and it gave me the same number four times in a row, so it is probably accurate. At first I was impressed with the 3.2 lb (1.5 kg) drop, but what got me really excited was this was the weight that was the lowest weight of 2024! All of 2025 I've been wanting to get down to the lowest point of last year. Now to see if I'll be able to stick to that low of a weight. The Absolute Idiot messed up the Financial projection again. Last night I had told it that...

Weight: 327.0 lbs ( 148.3 kg) BMI: 42.0 Waist: 54 in (137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Hamburger Helper Lasagna with Mozzarella and Parmesan Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Kroger Energy Shot, Powerade Zero Orange Sober Month 10 (Day 325)  I just could not get to sleep last night (Friday to Saturday) I was dead tired at the computer, but when I went to bed I felt like my eyes were bugging out of my head and I was wired for sound. Although I didn't sleep very well I was able to get up early enough to have breakfast and coffee. I was kind of worried that I would be able to do so. When I first go to work I was just dead tired but it was too busy to sneak away to get the Sugar Free Red Bull that I would normally drink at work (not sponsored) I was able to sneak in an energy shot. Those are technically cheaper than the energy drinks, but you get more out of the drinks than the shots. It is a small miracle that the...

Weight: 327.2 lbs ( 148.4 kg) BMI: 42.1 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup   Dinner: Rib Eye Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 324)  I got home last night and I just shut down. I worked until 9pm last night closing the desk. It wasn't that stressful. I actually got out on time for the second time in a row that I got out on time when closing the desk. A lot of times when closing the desk I get out 15 to 20 minutes late. But last night I was able to get out right at 9 O'clock. I did pay my car registration yesterday. The invoice said that it was $150.02 and I remembered in the past when I paid with my debit card there was a fee. I thought that I would be clever and run by the store and grab a Sugar Free Red Bull and withdraw $160 and use that to pay the car registration. However when I got there there was still a fee so I ended up paying $152.54. It is really annoying to pay a fe...

I thought the scale was glitching again, but each time I stood on the scale it gave me the same (ish) number! That's the lowest weight so far this year. That's 0.8 lbs (0.4 kg) pounds from the lowest weight last year. Yesterday they called me to ask if I wanted to come in an hour early to cover somebody's lunch because the lady who was supposed to do that lunch had a doctor's notice that she can't work for the next several days. I agreed because I was kind of shorted on hours this week. I didn't realize that I was volunteering for a 6:2 split day. When I got there the trans person at self checkout asked me if I was coming in to be Super...

But looking at the data of the year that seems to be the pattern. January was pretty flat, February had pretty good progress, March was pretty flat, and then April had good progress, and now May is flat. So I'm not sure if that is normal, but I am making amazing progress for the year. I didn't get a chance to take any notes today. I do remember that there were moments that I wanted to write things down. But good gravy today was swamped busy. It was the Friday of a holiday weekend and there are rumors of bad weather over the next couple of days. It was insanely busy and I did have more than one person ask me if the help that we had was all of the help...

I'm still fairly certain that it's just allergies, but I think COVID-19 is still close enough to the zeitgeist that nobody would want to lift weights around someone coughing like I am. And swimming when I can't breathe properly doesn't sound like fun either. Although sitting in the steam room for a bit would probably be beneficial. Had bacon and eggs for breakfast this morning. I've been trying to re-season my cast iron skillet. For a while I was cleaning the skillet with a steal wool scratch pad and baking it. I wasn't using soap water on it, but lately it looked like the patina was starting to come ...

Weight: 337.6 lbs ( 153.1 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Slow Cooker BBQ Chuck Roast Drinks: Couple cups of coffee with cream, ~1,000ml water, 2x Kroger energy shot    My feet this morning felt like they were in a vice! Particularly along the sides of the feet. Not sure if that was because I'm back to work from PTO last week, because my weight is trending back upwards, or because of the Mac and Cheese that I had last night. Calves were also really stiff and sore.      Work was another challenging day. I have no idea why it was so stomping busy all day long. People were loading up their carts and having orders in the hundreds and hundreds of dollars. And there were other things that would make this post a small novel about whining about work and that's just not what I want this blog to be.     I was able to avoid buying lunch again today. The main thought that hel...

The face wont turn on, the buttons don't seem to do anything, and it wont connect to the phone. But do you know what does work on it? The alarm -_- I'll be glad when this winter is over. It's never really bothered me before, but this cold is really starting to get annoying. It just keeps going. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat soon enough Back down to last months' lowest weight. GOODBYE ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS. Looking at the graph of the weight over the year is interesting though. Last month there was a real sharp downwards trend from the 18 th to the 25 th . And that's when I started buying diet sodas and from time to time buying beer. And it gradually climbed....

I was getting discouraged by the ups. Mom is leaving encouraging comments on my Facebook posts, and I've been bad at replying to them. They are appreciated, I'm just not sure of what to say to respond to them.      Went by the tag office this morning and they were able to fix the title for my car. They just stapled an “Affidavit of Correction” to the title. And they did it for free! I was so scared that I'd get the response of, “Yeah, we can fix it, but you'll have to pay the three years of back registrations and get insurance, and late fees, and the fee fees and the other fees.” But no it was just a matter of getting a piece of paper stapled to the old title. The look on the face of the lady at the tag office was kind of funny when I breathed out a, “Oh, tha...

Weight: 344 lbs (156 kg) BMI: 44.2 Waist: 57 (144.8 cm) WtHR: 77% Breakfast: Bacon and Over Easy Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks:2L Diet Big K Cola Recorded a General Update video this morning. Probably going to be spending all day thinking about the things I wanted to have mentioned. For instance I wanted to mention that I started off 2023 sober. Kind of helps that the first was a Sunday and I have about five whole dollars to my name. Once again I wake up with a ton of hope and optimism, and then I go to work and it feels like a giant gut punch. We only had one person call in, so far at my lunch break, but that shift was covered by someone who was asking for more hours anyway. But it's kind of bad when you can feel your emotions deflating as you walk into a building. Got tired of pork steak every night so I baked up some of the chicken that I had in the freezer. Unfortunately it was the last of the chicken in the freezer. But tomorrow is Tuesday ...

I seem to be out of the Diet Big K Forgot to pick up bacon last night. So no breakfast. Oh, well. Not really that hungry this morning anyway. I did the computer evaluation for the HR lady. She said that she'll call me on Tuesday to discuss the results of the evaluation. But it would be nice to have any kind of indication before than. I was kind of expecting a score at the end of each quiz. But no it would just say that the evaluation was complete and it would just go back to the list of remaining quizzes. So yeah, more than a little nervous for Tuesday. Is it strange that I'm more nervous about the report card than I was about the interview? Work was alright. Short staffed as always. But at least today we didn't have anyone yelling at us to open more...
