It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing. Getting Videos Done Before Work Daily Keto Blog August 7, 2023

The first Monday of the month I want to record a General Update video where I just turn on the camera and Vlog for a bit. But didn't get a chance to edit it before I had to leave. Again I'm not feeling all that confident in it. Yesterday and Today I had wanted to get videos done before work so they were rush jobs and every time I turned on the camera my mind went completely blank on everything I was wanting to say. So the General Update I made today was me talking about one idea that I had and then, “Oh, yeah I was going to mention this other thing.” So I talk about the other thing. Oh, wait I wasn't done talking about the first thing so I go back to talking about the other thing. So the video is me bouncing from one topic to the other topic back to the first topic. I finished recording it before work and edited it during lunch. It took too long to edit to upload it before I had to go back to work so I finished the editing and posted it after work. And it took WAY too long for my computer to process the video. There is no reason that it should have taken two hours for it to process a 16 minute video. I really hope there isn't something wrong with my computer, I'm trying to save up for a new set of tires for my car I really can't afford a new computer.

I did have time before work to put the microwave back into the kitchen. (That really shouldn't have taken two days to do that.) And cook up some bacon and eggs for breakfast. I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the bacon that I got this time around. It seems to be all fat and very little meat. I know that the fat is the good part and that's better for you than most realize, but it would be nice if it had a bit more actual meat in it.

 I didn't leave my debit card at home today. I had the idea yesterday to have cottage cheese with lasagna soup and I really wanted that so I brought the card with me to work to buy some cottage cheese. Unfortunately I did end up buying an energy shot and a Rockstar energy drink. My sister-in-law has a Facebook group where people share pictures of their food and I have to say the Lasagna Soup with Cottage Cheese mixed in does NOT look very appetizing. But it did taste better than it looked.

Work went really smoothly. It was one of those days where I was scheduled for six different jobs over the day. But it was one of those very rare days where everybody showed up for work! It's kind of amazing how well every thing works when everybody shows up. We're still understaffed, but at least we're not understaffed and missing the people that they were nice enough to give us. I did once again forget my water bottle so I didn't drink as much water as I'd like. I did have some of the bottled water that the store provides. But again I really want to bring my own bottle.

On the way home I proved once again why I want to leave my debit card at home, as I picked up a 12 pack of Bud Light Next. (It's 0 carb so that's alright right? /s) I debated on saying that on here, but lying on here is lying to myself. And lying to my mother (she reads these), and that's disrespectful to her. I'm 37, but I'm still sure that she'll bend me over her knee if I disrespected her like that

Looking forward to tomorrow. Sure I feel rushed to get a recipe video out, but I don't work tomorrow. So I'll have plenty of time to get videos done, but I don't have to worry about getting them done before work. I have to the dishes before I can record the recipe videos. But at least I don't have to work tomorrow so I'll have plenty of time to get things done and set up. 

I uploaded the General Update while I was writing this blog post and I've already had three views and two likes. It is kind of sad that I've already had this kind of activity on my video but that is new for me. But remember if you follow me now you're just getting in on the ground level of my "YouTube Success" (ha as if)
