It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing. And when I got back from the Y

Tax return came in last night as I was going to bed. Frustratingly it's already all spent. But at least the car insurance is paid, I have new shoes, and the Fresh Start loan on my checking account is paid off. I did order a new smart watch. That could be seen as a frivolous purchase. But at least I was able to buy something for myself. I spent the tax money so fast, I should probably register as a Democrat. To be balanced I should tell a joke making fun of the Republicans, but they make enough of a joke by themselves.

It was the day before an expected snowstorm, so it was pretty active at work. But nothing worth talking about happened at work. There was a moment when there was a line at self checkout and people demanded that we open more registers. But there were two registers open with no waiting. They still stood in line for the self checkout though. There was some trouble with Digital Coupons and Fuel points, but nothing that couldn't be handled. The self checkouts were kind of strange. There was a weird error that would pop up, where every once and a while people would type in their phone number for their shoppers card, and then the register would bring up a choice of canceling or suspending their order. And these were the only two options after they typed in their shoppers cards. I'm hoping that the errors are corrected by tomorrow.

Got the Natural Gas Bill for next month and it's one of the highest bills on record. I'm going to start turning down the thermostat when I go to work and then turning it back up when I get home. I have it set to the average pay plan so it might be a while before I see the effect of that plan. Last summer the hot water knob on the kitchen sink broke so the hot water constantly ran for a couple of weeks before I contacted the landlord to fix it. (He's quick at fixing things, but I'm slow at asking for help with things) So that might be what's causing the average plan to cost so much. That's along with the cost of everything going up as well considering the world wide drama with natural gas. I'm going to try to “Keep calm and carry on” when it comes to bills and quite a few other things. The bills are currently within my income range. There's no real reason to panic about the bills while I can afford them. But there is a rather upsetting trend in those bills. It would be nice if it went back to the average of the 2010's, but I don't think that'll happen if people get used to paying the average of the 2020's

I had another half hour “lunch” break today as I had another short day. I'm still getting 40 hours this week, but it's another week where I'm working six days. I have two days off next week that I'm looking forward to. But today I picked up another pack of Bar S hot dogs. They have corn syrup in them, but they still seem to be good for “Dirty Keto” and seemed to be good for a snack. I really shouldn't have eaten them. I should have just left my debit card at home. There was no reason to have a snack when I ate a lunch before work. Oh well, at least I was good in a “Dirty Keto” sense. I found a bottle of water that said it was a Caffeinated Water. It wasn't very tasty. It had a nasty bitter taste to it. And looking it up that is what caffeine tastes like. I also had an energy shot at work, this is also something that I want to quit drinking. I'm not sure if it's as bad as alcohol, but I can't think that whatever is in those shots is very good for you.
