It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing. And when I got back from the Y

Strange amount of hunger lately. Last night waiting to go home I was just going nuts hungry. Woke up this morning feeling starved. I ate two drumsticks and two thighs for dinner last night, and that was after eating a small serving of Hamburger Sausage Alfredo right as I got home from work. So it's not like I'm actually starving myself. Perhaps my gut is starting to notice that I'm only eating one single serving of a recipe instead of an entire meal meant for a family of four. At least I don't think I'm starving myself. 4 strips of bacon and 3 fried eggs, (most days) a bowl of soup or a serving of a casserole, and then for dinner (usually) is four pieces of chicken. I've also been thirsty as heck. When I first got the water bottle earlier this week I had a hard time drinking it all, but now I'm chugging from it.

Weight is really down, but waist is going up. Not sure if that's just fluctuations, or what. But the gut does seem to be sagging again.

Feet and calves were burning when I got up this morning. I can't wait for my tax return to come in. I think these shoes are tearing me up. The poor things were carrying me around since May so probably due for a new pair. Got the Kansas Return in today and the Federal Return should be coming in a few days. Transferred the Kansas return into my savings account, hopefully it'll stay there for a while. Oh, and if anyone is reading this thinking, “Oh, he is saying that he's getting money in let's try scamming him!” don't get too excited, most of the returns are just going to getting caught up on bills. Just like they do every year. I don't know why I bother getting excited about the tax returns they all just go towards bills every year. Not sure what it is about this time of year, I always find myself behind on everything when those get in. At least I'll be caught up. And this year I seem to be doing pretty good at sticking to the buying groceries one day a week and saving the rest for the rest of the week. And hopefully that will help me keep my feet underneath me.

The bacon that I bought this last week seems to be sitting in my cast iron skillet better than previous slabs of bacon. Is this an example of “shrinkflation”? I have had trouble with previous bacon strips and might have stretched them to get them out of the packaging. But this pack of bacon fit inside of the freezer bag that I keep the bacon in. (I don't freeze the bacon, I just keep the package in a bag in the refrigerator)

And since I did get one of the refunds I was waiting for and I was out of cream for my coffee I took my debit card with me to work. I picked up some Beddar with Cheddar sausages for lunch. I remembered the last time I bought Johnsonville sausages I got the Jalapeno cheddar sausages, and those were almost too spicy for me and I didn't really have time to process the food while eating it today. I also took advantage of a deal that was going on for some nachos. The corn chips aren't on my diet, but I'm not going to worry about one day of eating nachos.

I didn't eat the nachos this evening. I have Monday off this coming week, and this is my only day off this coming week. So I think I'm going to spend it trying to play video games and eating nachos. This evening I threw some stuff together that I'm going to call “Taco Mix” It was just some ground beef, taco seasoning, shredded cheddar, and sour cream. I put a half cup of water in the ground beef to get the taco seasoning to mix in, but I think I used too much water and it seemed more like a soup than the cheesy bits of ground beef that I was aiming for.

Had a hard time writing this all out this evening. I was just so tired. Had a hard time getting to sleep last night. (Friday into Saturday) Every time I started drifting off an annoying customer I dealt with earlier in the day kept popping back into my head and I just could not get rid of her.
