It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing. And when I got back from the Y

Had a really exciting moment when I first stood on my scale this morning. It was reading 325 ( 147.4 kg)! but the reader was flickering a lot. Losing 6lbs (2.7 kg) over night would be exciting, but it's more likely that there's something up with the scale. So I decided to check under the scale to make sure that it wasn't sitting on anything. Strangely enough there was a bit of a tortilla chip lodged in one of the feet of the scale. That would explain why the scale was acting strange. The real question is where the heck that chip came from. I haven't had nachos in months. Maybe God is telling me that I really need to get off my butt and get this house cleaned up. Without the mysterious chip the scale read as 329.4 (149.4 kg) I did think about keeping the lower reading as today's weigh in. But that would be cheating, and not really helping anything. The goal isn't just a number on a scale. And it'd just be up tomorrow as it corrected itself.

I'm feeling sorry for the dog in the neighboring unit to my apartment. It looks like an English Bulldog and I think it gets lonely during the day because it spends THE ENTIRE DAY barking and howling. It makes waking up in the morning a bit easier, but three or four hours later you're really wanting it to shut up already.

Got around to putting the pork steaks and chicken that I bought yesterday up in the freezer, but I think I overfilled my freezer. Hopefully it won't stay stuffed very long and I'll be saving money on food for the next couple of weeks. Or month. I got done doing an inventory of the freezer and I have fifty something meals up there. The problem is that it's fifty something servings of only 9 different recipes. That is if you consider the chicken and ribs to be their own recipes. Which covers food for the rest of the month if I am just using freezer meals for lunch and dinner. (Bacon and eggs for breakfast) But the concern is I am wanting to have a weekly recipe video and the freezer is already overfull. Maybe I'll just delay getting onto that, maybe I'll just look for smaller recipes. The recipes that I try to look for are full 8 serving recipes, but perhaps I should look for 4 serving meals until I clean out the freezer a bit. Either way I am definitely good on pork steaks and chicken for a while.

Not sure what happened to today. I was dancing around listening to music doing dishes all morning. But starting around one or two in the afternoon I just had no go and I'd blink and it was an hour later. I'm not sure if it was just the coffee wearing off or just my body realizing that I didn't work today so I could just slack around all day. I did get the big things done that I was wanting to do; recording a recipe video and doing an inventory of the freezer. But those shouldn't have taken six hours to do. I did remember to send off the rent check, which would be really awkward if I just didn't pay rent because I forgot to send the check. When I was out and about I did pick up a couple cases of diet soda, hey at least it wasn't beer. But I wonder if the drinking the soda this afternoon was what shut me down. The sodas didn't have caffeine or sugar in them, but I wonder if there's any other effect that could shut someone down
