It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing.     After I posted last night I came across a video about meditation. And I thought it might be interesting to try meditation. And that was the last thing I remember from last night. I don't even remember going to bed. I'm not sure if that means that the meditation worked or if I just fell asleep. Or if that's a sign of meditation working.

    I really should have closed the windows before going to bed last night because it was really freaking cold this morning. I'm pretty sure that it was 42 degrees (5.6 C) this morning when I woke up. That really got me woken up. But the feet and legs were really burning. Again once I got up and going the burning went away. The burning in my feet and ankles were rather disconcerting along with the weight tracking back upwards. I'm just trying to tell myself that weight does fluctuate. But I do wish that it'd “fluctuate” down a bit more. I wasn't going to turn the heater back on, but it was really quite cold this morning. I still haven't turned the A/C on just yet. But it really was quite cold this morning.

    Work was interesting. They had rearranged the light covers on the registers. About a month ago corporate had decided that the cigarette register will be the “Main Register” but the cigarette register is the “Express Lane” and I had spent the last month trying to convince customers that it was no longer the express register but people would just not get the fact that it was no longer an express register and would refuse to use it for their shopping. It would not matter if they had an entire cart load of groceries, or two jars of applesauce. People would just refuse to use the “Express Register” while the “Regular Registers” were closed. I could just not convince people that it was just a regular register. The rumor was that they were going to give us new numbering on the registers, with the self checkouts being 1-6 with the regular registers being 7-11. But at the time people would refuse to use the “express register” And today just before I got to work someone had did something that I had suggested several weeks ago and rearranged the light numbers; moving the register light from register 4 and traded it with register 1 (The express register) showing that register 1 was register 4 and register 4 was the “Express Register” And not once, at all, ever today did ANYONE say anything about being “Forced” into using the self checkout or ANYTHING! It was kind of nice to be a Supervisor again where all I had to do was try to make the teenagers work, without trying to convince the elderly that the register that is labeled “Express Register” isn't really the express register anymore.

And today I had a very even level of energy today. I did still catch myself staring at the energy shots, but I think that was more about the habit than because I needed the energy. It was nice that I was not feeling the “crash” after the energy drinks that I would normally had felt. Had picked up a pack of hot dogs out of habit and didn't think of the package of cabbage soup that I had in the fridge until well after I got home this evening.

I was going to grill some pork steaks after work this evening after work, but the one steak that I had in the fridge and out of the freezer was one of the smaller ones and I was more hungry than one small pork steak would satisfy; and the point of the carnivore diet is to eat enough to be satisfied so I took another pork steak out of the freezer and baked chicken for diner instead.
