It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing. And when I got back from the Y

Trucker roommate is home this week so I weighed in with shorts on, we're not that kind of roommates. So I'm probably closer to 330 (149.7 kg)

When I was cooking the bacon and eggs that I normally have for breakfast I accidentally touched the cornstarch and the stuff literally EXPLOADED every where. It had fell out of the cabinet, bounced off of the countertop, and landed on the floor. And I have to say that stuff is EVIL when you're trying to clean it up. (seriously God rested on the seventh day and the devil spent all of that day coming up with the idea of cornstarch cleanup) When I came home from work there was a layer over my entire living room. I think I'm going to have to get a Swiffer to clean it all up. (not sponsored) It might be a challenge because the roommate is home this week and I'd hate to dismantle the entire ground floor of the house during the three or four days that he's home for the month.

And after being frazzled by the cornstarch blizzard in the kitchen I did find the pepper behind where the cornstarch was sitting when I opened the lid of the pepper and tried to sprinkle the pepper over the eggs I did not realize I had opened the wrong lid to the container. Instead of opening the “sprinkle” side, I had opened the “spoon” side, causing me to dump the entire container of pepper over the three eggs that I was trying to fry.

The frustrating thing is that the reason that I had bought the cornstarch in the first place was to try to clean the brown crap off of my Pyrex pans. I am trying to do recipe videos and there's a bad look if I'm trying to do videos and then pull out these nasty grimy pans. And I have read online that a combination of cornstarch and vinegar is good to clean off these grime spots. But I spent a good amount of time yesterday (that I should have mentioned on yesterday's blog) trying to use that method to try to clean one of those pans. But using that combination of cornstarch and vinegar to scrub didn't seem to have any difference from scrubbing with just a sponge and time. I've also seen that vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice is a good combination, I'll try this on Tuesday to see if I can make any progress on these pans. I am glad that I have recipes already recorded ready to go so I can take a couple of weeks to try to get my pans cleaned up and ready for another video.

With THAT start to the day I decided to buy a lottery ticket when I got to work. I know that it'd never work out for me (there's a reason that the lottery is called the “Idiot Tax”) but I thought I'd go ahead and try to coast in on the bad luck that I've already had for the day. (there's a superstition that if you get a bunch of bad luck in a row, you're due for some good luck) And what the hell, it's just a couple of bucks.

I had also forgotten the water bottle at home again so I was thirsty all day long. And I had gave in to the temptation of the energy shots during the day. And I had bought the Johnsonville Sausages because the roommate was home and I didn't want to interrupt his gaming time to just come home for lunch. Partially because coming home when he's playing games means listening to him screaming racist expletives at the people he's playing games with online. So it is was a bit more peaceful in the break room at the store. And also the roommate has a dog that seems to like licking things. Lately the dog has taking a liking to licking a three way plug in cable that I have next to my desk. So not only do I have to listen to the "slorp, slorp, slorp," noise of the dog right next to me I have to keep chasing the dog away from the plugins that are the one of the lamps on the top of my desk, charging my phone, and charging my smart watch. I don't want the dog to short out the plug in, but I'm getting really tired of chasing it away from the damn plug in.
