What I was trying to do was to fill out the entire local map. The problem was that as I walked around the sun would go down and monsters would come out at night. I carried a bed with me to “Sleep through the night” but a lot of times when I placed the bed down the monsters would spawn too closely to my bed and I would try fighting them off to sleep, but a lot of times when I was fighting one monster another one would come up behind me and blow me up. If you can get back to the point where your character was killed quickly enough you can pick up the stuff that you had, but the thing is that a lot of time the point where I died would be on the other side of the play area ...

Sober Month 1 (Day 37)

Woke up this morning and my feet didn't really hurt, but my calves were really stiff and sore. It was like I just ran a marathon, but only in my calves. As I got up and moving they loosened up. I noticed that I haven't had salted coffee over the last week or so. So maybe the lack of salt is making my muscles sore? Maybe the cause of the headache over the last day or two? I made sure to put salt in the coffee this morning and I took my supplements (Fish Oil, Magnesium, Potassium, K2+D3, Vitamin D3)

The rent check finally came through today. I have to say I was dancing on sunshine when I checked my bank balance and saw that it was there. I really didn't want to call up the Landlord and maybe cause issues.

Amazon package was delayed, not surprised as it still shows that it is still in Katy Texas. But the email says that it'll be here tomorrow, however the amazon site itself just says “package delayed in transit” When I checked it after work it did say that it was in Oklahoma City, so it would be more than likely delivered tomorrow. Who knows maybe I'll be back to printing tomorrow evening.

Lots of energy again for the first half of work. That leads to frustration because I'm running at a thousand miles per hour dancing around, but people around me don't seem to understand basic English. A lot of older people were in the store today. And they were doing the stereotypical old people stuff. Moving about half a mile per decade, arguing about coupons, making me repeat myself a hundred times. Etc.

Lunch was the Italian Sausage Spinach soup. Hot dogs were on sale so I picked up a pack. I didn't need to eat the hot dogs. But I am kind of glad that I did because the Hot Italian Sausage in the soup really made the soup spicy and it was good to have the hot dogs to break up the spice of the soup.

Another financially exciting thing that I noticed. Is that I'm going to be paying the bills tomorrow, and I'll still have money in my savings accounts. And there will still be another pay check this month! I'm going to start February with all of the bills paid (well, apart from the rent check that usually takes a week or two) and money in my accounts. There's not a whole lot of months in my life when I was able to say that. I decided to celebrate a bit for dinner. So I picked up some chuck steaks, salad, and Caesar dressing. The Caesar dressing is just as filled with oil as the Ranch, but it tastes good. I also picked up a case of Budweiser zero. This will be the last time I buy NA beer as I was just buying it for the “celebration” and buying “near-beer” is a pathway to get back to where I left off. And it really kind of misses a lot of the point I'm trying to do with this project.

But back to financial stuff. If I go like I'm going now I'll get a Tax Return in a couple of months and it'll be completely income. There won't be anything that is waiting to be paid off. There will be no bills or payments that would be needed to be caught up on. That's quite exciting.

I came across a headline that President Trump is thinking about completely eliminating Income Taxes altogether. And just replacing them with Tariffs. I didn't get a chance to read the article and I don't know enough about taxes or tariffs to have an opinion on if that's a good idea. But it is intriguing. Sure people will have more money pay check to pay check. But then they wouldn't get a Tax Return each year. I am curious how much of a spending bump there is each spring when people get their Returns.
